AC250 was designed for use with the ACMMII, which creates immobilization devices for any anatomical site, prone or supine. AC250 is a smaller amount of foam than the standard AC325. AC250 creates devices for heads, head & necks, and upper extremities. By using AC250 to create these smaller devices instead of AC325, you do not get the pillow effect by trying to use too much foam for these smaller sites. It can also be used to make thoracic devices on smaller, younger patients.
